Joy Debra Swenson

The day after I got back from Rochester, Sam and Erica welcomed their 4th beautiful daughter, Joy Debra Swenson.   We all thought her name was going to be Elenore, so when they told me it was Joy, I was delighted.  Then when I found out her middle name was Debra I was so touched.  Joy was born on August 3rd (Sam and Erica are going to have to pick another day to celebrate their anniversary).  I went to Sacramento to be with them the last week of August.  I had a wonderful time.  Sam and Erica have a beautiful home in a great place--so close to everything.  Ken flew down over Labor Day weekend and we blessed Joy that Sunday.  Here are a few photos:

We spent a day out at Folsom Lake.  It was a lot of fun.  The water has an interesting look to it--like there is gold dust floating around in it.  Obviously it isn't gold but it sure looked like it!
